Walked by Paul A Young's branch in the Citywhen it was closed and noticed that they had a sign in the window saying they have a bar made from Porcelana beans, a rare breed of Criollo beans (I tried a bar from Domori a few years ago and it was awesome). Has anyone tried it? Is it made by Paul A Young or from one of the brands like Domori or Amadei?

I don't know if it was the Paul Young bar but I tried some Porcelana chocolate at the Great Taste Awards judging yesterday and it was quite possibly the best chocolate I've ever had. It was just amazing and we nominated it to be considered for a gold star. I'd have given it three straight away if it was up to me. It was a blind tasting but I'll try and find out who made it.

We also had a salted caramel truffle which was really, really good which I think may have been a Paul Young one.

That's great to hear, it's *really* good stuff. Will have to detour into the city (or Angel) for a bar soon.
