Anyone know where I could find quail eggs before Saturday?
If you act fast and are lucky, you might find them at Kotobukiya before they shutter their doors! (They happened to have a package tonight, but they had little else on the shelfs...)
I have seen them at Savenors, and this weekend they had a bunch at the Indian Foodstore in Central Square [the one next to the food coop.]
if canned is ok, then every asian market definitely has them.
Russo's will occationally have them as do some of the larger WFM.
Super 88 in Allston often has them, but while there was a spot for them they were all out last time I was there (about two weekends ago).
Don't count on anything at Super 88 in Allston. They didn't even have frozen lemongrass last night...:(
Every Asian supermarket usually have them in stock. If not they have them in cans.
Yeah, I thought every Asian market had frozen lemongrass, too... If they aren't in cans, I definitely wouldn't buy them there; I worry about their turnover.
Russo's almost always has them, on the shelves above the chicken eggs.
