I just went once and I liked it - portions werent huge but the prices are great so it was worth it. The only thing is that it was unclear which of their menu options were available for dinner (not paninis, apparently).

I agree. There is an energy there that comes with the noise. I felt like I was in a city cafe much like the non-kosher ones and that's ok. Food was great. Service was excellent. Cappuccino was divine. Kids were happy with personal pizzas and milkshakes. Basil pesto/avocado panini was a treat for mom.

I have been there about 8 times since it opened. I think it is outstanding. Great food, service and ambiance and very reasonable prices. It is a very welcome addition to the kosher dining scene in Manhattan. The noise level can get high if it is packed, but I find that it adds to the energy of the place. This is a cafe, not a formal stodgy dining room.

I was there last night, and while the food was still quite good, it got pretty noisy during peak dinner hour, especially at our table next to the large family gathering with many small children. If you need to have a formal business meal, this place is probably too casual, but if it's just a lunch out with peers, it ought to be fine.
