Little Sorrento's (Yorktown)

kimmykimmy May 4, 2009 07:04 AM

Driving up dismal route 202 on Saturday, I was pleased to see a packed parking lot at Little Sorrento"s. Courious.. we went in, and to our surprise a waiting list for a table at 9:15 pm! A middle of the road (Price point) Italian restaurant that seemed to not be devistated by the economy.Kudos to all the local supporters. Two glasses of wine, two appetizers, and two large portioned dinners only a little over $50. Not bad for a Saturday night out. If you go, make sure to try the asparagus ravioli!

Little Sorrento's is good red sauce Italian in a very pleasant space with friendly and good service. Nothing special but a nice meal out.

I also have been there dozens of times over the years and have never had a bad meal. Very kid friendly. I also love the chicken scampi.

I've eaten there dozens of times over the years. Not fantastic, but a reliable and reasonable local place, nice but not fancy place where your rambunctious kids are welcome, you can have a glass of wine, and the food is always the same. They also have a smaller room that's nice for a small party.

The food is very good and I just love the bread that they serve!
