Where to dine/stay in Camden, Maine?

I'd like to go on a midweek getaway to the Camden area.
Looking for mid-priced hotel and delicious dining options. Any suggestions? Thank you!

  1. We stayed at the Camden Inn last time we were up there, small, quaint, in the middle of town, the people who run the place were so nice, our room was great, no view, but comfy bed, clean and plush...they have an honor system, in the common room downstairs they have fridge wtih wine, so after dinner one night we ran out of wine in our room, so ran down a grab a glass,,,,loved it, next door is a great bagle place, when we there all the locals were coming getting their bagles. We ate only one night (Capt. House) because we were there for the Rockland Lobster Festival, Rockland has a great place called In Good Company that is GREAT! It's housed in an old bank and the wine cellar is the old bank vault!

    1. We did a HH there at a place onthe water...what a view, just walk along the boardwalk/mania area and there are some great places...I wish i could remember the name of the palce where my Hubby and I had wonderful wine and a superb cheese plate, it is off the path and it is a house, so it throws you off when you first see it....if I remember or check my travel file I will report back
