Toronto Chowhound in Omaha Needs Recs

I will be visiting Omaha for a week to attend a theatre conference. My days will be pretty full but we do get a bit of time on our own. We have an evening to explore the Old Market so any recommendations for there would be welcome. I'll be staying at Creighton U student housing. I would also like to take the director of my play out to dinner to a place where we can have a relatively private conversation. I'm looking for moderately priced places, although everyone is telling me to try the steak in Omaha. Thanks!
