Mother's Day Brunch Help Needed - Highstown/Princetown Area

My mother recently moved to Cranbury, NJ. We will be driving up from Philly and would like to take her to a Mother's Day Brunch. Can anyone suggest a place between Cranbury and Princeton area. There will be 8 of us including 3 children. Thanks for your help.

Finding a reservation for 8 people with only 6 days to go until for Mothers Day? Unfortunately you may get a table at Ruby Tuesday's if your lucky. Mom would have good advice about not waiting until the last minute. ;-)

Maybe a detour down to Rat's in Hamilton? They usually have a nice (but admittedly pricey) Mother's Day brunch. I like to take my mother there for it (though we will be missing this year), and it's really a spectacular occasion when the weather's nice. You can stroll the sculpture garden before or after the meal, and that can be particularly enjoyable for the kids as well as the adults.

my husband booked at Fiddleheads in Jamesburg...they are doing seatings...you might want to try...they have a varied menu, it's not buffet.

We tried Fiddleshead but unfortunately they did not have any availability. Any other suggestions out there?

You might have some real issues getting a reservation. Some places you can try are the Cranbury Inn in Cranbury http://www.thecranburyinn.com/, JB Winberies in Princeton http://restaurantrow.com/MoreInfo.cfm?Code=235100&state=NJ, and Crystal Garden in the the Hyatt in Princeton http://www.opentable.com/single.aspx?.... I really like Winberies' buffet and you might be ok with the reservation.
