Looking for a good BYOB in NW Burbs

filbertman May 2, 2009 02:46 PM

Hi All,

I'm looking for a good BYOB restaurants in the NW Burbs, near O'hare or Schaumburg for dinner with some friends.

I found L'Olivo on-line but I'm not sure we just want a pizza place (and I don't like their website, http://www.lolivo.net/).

Any suggestions?

I would love to see an answer to this. I feel as if the NW suburbs don't have BYOBs the way the city does. It's more like a place will be BYOB until it gets a license and then it stops.

One of my favorite Italian places, Cafe Lucci (cafelucci dot com) used to have zero corkage fee on Mondays.

For what it's worth, here's the Metromix BYOB guide; links to suburbs in the sidebar:

Lolivo's is a great place. We had a great time there. They're friendly and the atmosphere is casual and relaxed, we didn’t feel rushed to leave. Free corkage BYOB, great Pizza and Pasta. Highly recommended, if you haven’t already tried it.
