A new Fulton Mall Farmers Market opens next Wednesday, here's the City's press release:
"The new "Market on the Mall" is set to launch on Wednesday, May 13, at the corner of Mariposa and Fulton Mall. As early Market supporters, we invite you to join City and nonprofit leaders that day at 12 noon near the Mall's Free Speech Stage for a celebration of the Market opening. Special guests will include Mayor Ashley Swearengin, EOC Executive Director Roger Palomino, City Council President Cynthia Sterling, Downtown Association Executive Director Jan Minami, Grizzlies mascot Parker, and others.
The Market on the Mall is a certified farmers' market that will run from 10am to 2pm each Wednesday and Friday. The Market's central location and midday time make it convenient for thousands of Downtown workers, jurors, hotel guests, FAX bus riders, and EOC voucher clients using programs such as WIC and EBT.
Market offerings will be organic and seasonal, with fresh produce and other farm products certified to come straight from local growers and producers. As the season progresses, be sure to check the "Market on the Mall" website at www.downtownfresno.org/market for updates on lunchtime entertainment and product offerings."

Gail, according to the KP website, the market is Wednesdays from 8:00am-1:30pm:

It's held at the entrance plaza on the west side of the building; there are some shade trees & it's a nice place to walk around. I've been a couple of times. It's a small market but has a surprisingly good selection of fruits, vegetables & other items for such a small market. I'd probably go more often if I didn't have to work during those hours.
