Eatontown area dinner
I have to take my parents to an appointment in Eatontown on Monday and I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a nice dinner between Eatontown and Manasquan. I'm not at all familiar with the Eatontown area, so I'm hoping for something easy to find that is on the way back to Manasquan. I'm guessing we will be taking the parkway up to get to Eatontown, so maybe something along the way there. Unfortunately, my parents are picky eaters. No Chinese, Thai or anything too exotic or adventurous. My mother eats no seafood, so a menu that is heavy on the seafood options might not be a good fit. Just a nice mid priced meal at a place where you can get a glass of wine. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Depending on where in Squan you are and where in Eatontown you will be, rt 18 might be better than the parkway.
As for places to eat, there are a couple other diners close on rt 35 I like better: Cobblestone, about a half mile north of 36, and Blue Swan, about a half mile south of 36. Plus there are many reasonable choices on 35 south of the mall. Chains like Chili's and Fridays at the mall and Houlihan's and Olive Garden just south, more upscale restaurants like Manhattan Steakhouse or Piccola Italia are examples. Don Chucho's is a very good Mexican if that's ok. Plus Applebee's and Redheads by the parkway entrance.
Do a google on eatontown restaurants and you'll find a large number.

Why not just try the All Seasons Restaurant on Wycoff rd & Rt 36...its always packed & has decent food.....the large menu choices might be just what you need for picky eaters & the price is right.
