Eastside Produce Delivery?

I'm looking for a good produce delivery service that delivers to Pasadena. I'd prefer a service that specializes in local produce. All suggestions welcome! Thanks, Susan

While in S.Pas the other day, I received a flyer for the Figueroa Produce market. You might want to ask them if they have a delivery service.

beautiful, local produce and an option to get baked goods or dinner items as well.
Figueroa Produce is a cool place for cheap stuff but I doubt they would deliver and I don't think it's particularly local.

Susan, have you considered joining a CSA? No choice in what you get, but it's certainly local. Tierra Miguel is an organic farm in San Diego County that makes deliveries to Pasadena (Caltech) and San Marino (Julienne). There was a post on chowhound about them a month or two ago.

I wish I could use CSA, but I just had a baby so the pickup situation is a little challenging right now. I'm really looking for a delivery service, at least for the next 6 months or so. But thanks for the idea.

Well, I live on the westside, and one of my sons' schools just hooked up with a guy who's doing local, organic produce, but I don't know if he's delivering all over Metro LA. I will find out and definitely get back to you.
