Hammond, IN Near Horseshoe

Kind of late to be putting this up, but I'm not having much luck on my own. I have tickets to a show Saturday night at The Horseshoe Casino and Hammond and would like to find a place to eat before hand.

We'll be coming from about the Oak Lawn, area so anything along the way would be fine. As always, looking for greasy bar food, pubs, pizza, BBQ, Chicago style joints or Mexican.

Up for Grabs has great Lake Perch prepared boned and buttered. Also have excellent gourmet type burgers.
Kieth's in Whiting is open for dinner only on weekends. A real bright spot in NWI.

This would be a good choice:

Their Whiting location is just a few blocks from the casino.

What's a "Chicago style joint?" As a Chicagoan maybe I'm too close to it, but I have no idea what makes a joint be called "Chicago style.

Arnie's is a couple blocks from the Horseshoe. It's a NW Indiana institution and is in the Vienna Beef Hall of Fame:
