Tangierino- special suggestions?

I'm taking my parents and some of their friends (group of 9) to Tangierino for dinner next Saturday. I haven't been there for a while so was wondering if anyone has special favorites on the menu. I love the tuna tartar, so will def. get that, but other suggestions appreciated. Also, is there a special table/ area in the restaurant I should request? Thanks for the help!!

  1. the b'stilla. definitely

    1. The Chicken B'Stila app is to die for - slightly sweet (if you don't like sweet and savory together); another yummy app (very rich) is the almond crusted foie gras with duck confit and poached figs; the lemon chicken tagine is so succulent and the chicken moist and delicious; I like to order the lamb tenderloin with pistachio, orange zest and cous cous as a main (after I have ordered the Chicken Bstila and foie gras as apps!) - it is delicious. the last time we were there our DCs had the bass with the vanilla bean turnip puree and loved it - it sure sounds good to me - I was too into my lamb taste to want to try fish - but I would order it in a second the next time.

      1. I agree - b'stilla app annd Chicken tagine are fabulous. The fries in the tagine are so delicous!

        1. Thanks for all the suggestions. I ended up getting the tuna tartar for an app- it was just as delicious as I remembered it. My boyfriend got the fisherman's soup, which was also very good- calamari were especially tender. For a main I had the Sultan's Kadra- lamb with a side of eggplant and goat cheese. I thought the eggplant dish was rather unremarkable, but the lamb was excellently prepared. My sister is a vegetarian and got the vegetable couscous, which was very bland and not worth getting. The belly dancer was lots of fun, and the wine good (can't remember what we had though. Overall, a very fun night.
