Best hibachi in CT

Ive been to Ginza in Bloomfield and Sakimura in Simsbury neither of which were very good taste wise or wallet wise. Most of these types of places that ive been to around the country offer Early Birds which are great values but i have yet to find one in CT

I enjoy Kobis Japanese Steakhouse in Shelton on Bridgeport Avenue. I think they also have a Fairfield location.

Osaka in Brookfield is fine, but avoid Kabuki in Danbury like the plague...which you might very well contract there...

Kobe Japanese restaurant in Shelton is very good. A little expensive, but you get a lot of food.

Yes, Sakura (noted above) in Westport is very good. It's been around for over 25 years.

May be too far based on the couple you mentioned going to, but Sakura in Westport is very good
