Anniversary Dinner on a budget!
My husband and I are visting the city later this month. We love food and would really enjoy a great anniversary dinner but money is tight these days and cant splurge so much anymore. We are comfortable with entrees that reach 18-20$. We are looking for a restaurant thats bit romantic with alot of personaltiy but of course great food and wine for our budget. Do you have any suggestions?

Do yourself a favor and make it a luncheon, same great restaurants, far lower prices. That being said if you're set on supper for romance I would hunt through Time Out's restaurant section which lists average entree prices... I like Petite Abeille, the one on Hudson, for a cheap $18 pre fixe and excellent food and intimate atmosphere
