Anyone eat at Paxia in College Park (Orlando)?

I just read something about Paxia, a new Mexican restaurant in Orlando's trendy College Park neighborhood, offering a special for Orlando Restaurant Week. I've never been there before, but my fiancee and I are always on the lookout for really good Mexican food. I'm still partial to Chilango's in Winter Springs (which is also running a Restaurant Week special), but she longs for California-style Mexican, which is impossible to find locally.

Unfortunately Paxia's website does not have a menu posted, but the Restaurant Week options sound really good, and a bit on the upscale side: http://www.orlandorestaurantweek.com/...

Has anyone been there before? What are some can't-miss specialties, and generally how much would a dinner for two (without drinks) run? I am really intrigued!

EDIT: D'oh, I just found an old thread on the place: http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/527610

Has anyone been there more recently, and had better experiences?

  1. I've been once, I had a spicy shrimp dish that was pretty good, my date had a more traditional chicken dish that was a bit dry. We both thought the place needed a good overall cleaning.
