Does anyone here have one? Is it worth $1,400?

    1. I saw the article in the WSJ, and I am really intrigued, though the price is a little rich for my blood. I'm having a hard time putting my finger on how it works exactly.

        Basically, it's a temperature-controlled variable speed blender/food processor. It can spin the blades extra-slow to get a constant stir so something like risotto, which otherwise needs constant tending (unless you're a whiz like me) is a "set and forget" dish.

        1. I'm waiting for the model that also cleans everything so I can get rid of not only my countertop appliances and my cooktop, but my dishwasher as well! :-)
