Late night eats around Mt. Vernon Square

We are staying at the hostel near Mt. Vernon Square. Our group is 17 8th graders. I'm wondering about some quick, easy, and good take out for when we arrive late on a Saturday night (10pm), and then other good eats for the following days. Also, what would be the best Ethiopian/Eritrean place for a large group on a budget anywhere in DC?

1) If you're by the convention center, your best bet is to head south towards Chinatown/Gallery Place (or take the Green line metro) to about 7th and H, and there are a couple of Chinese Restaurants and a # of chain restaurants (Fuddruckers a burger chain from San Antonio Texas, for 1) that will still be open. DC proper doesn't do very well with late nite eats, especially with large groups.

2) Dukem on U street is the biggest. Most Ethiopian dishes range between 7-13 @ most restaurants.

Full Kee and New Big Wong in the Chinatown block of H Street. There are also a pile of corporate pub-type places in Penn Quarter that serve late.
