ISO Valrhona disk (fèves) in Westchester

I'm trying to make the DAVID LEITE chocolate chip cookies from NYTIMES. Anyone know where I can find Valrhona bittersweet chocolate disks?

Me too. Maybe on line. Try Chocosphere.com.

Chocosphere used to have them; haven't checked recently. Every once in a while I find them at a Whole Foods too.

            2. If you are friendly with a restaurant owner, you could ask them to order it from The Chefs Warehouse. 7188428700

                1. I believe that I have seen them at Whole Foods in White Plains. They have a pretty large selection of chocolate opposite where the cheeses are and next to the coffee bar.

                    1. I think I saw them at Balducci's in Scarsdale yesterday...not 100% sure..calll ahead.

What about Chef Central? I bought the chocolate log things you put in croisssants during a disastrous attempt at making pain au chocolat at home once...

I'm prety sure I've never seen them there. From what I've seen there, they have a very limited number of very commercial baking ingredients, mostly by Wilton. I have gotten Valrhona discs by etail from Surfas, but I would double check Whole Foods first.

                            2. For some reason I think I have seen them, or at least a bar by that company, at Trader Joe's-maybe worth a visit or at least a call.

I do not recall ever seeing them at Chef Central but stock there does change.

Plenty of places to buy them on-line-I looked will checking home site for any details on retail stores.

                                1. I found them at Whole Foods in WP. Thanks for everyone's input!!!
