I haven't been but here is a review from the South Philly Review - not my most trusted review source, but it gives you an idea of the place. The best thing I see is an $8 martini!

Ate there prior to Bruce on Tuesday.

Interior is kinda cold, nothing inside screams firehouse (like jack's in fairmount or even the old engine 46 on reed near movie theater. The place is owned by the Mad river guys and reminds me of a Public House kind of atmosphere and the kind of crowd they had. (which wasn't much, though they are new)

Split corn and crab fritters and loillipop wings as appetizers. unimpressed. Sauce on wings was weak. fritters were ok, nothing to crave.

unimpressive beer list, they have a rotating Sly fox on draft along with usual suspects....blah. the craftiest bottle was Yards Pale Ale....no Philly Brewing Co, Dogfish....weak.

entrees, I had the burger and my lady had the chicken gyro (i think it was called). burger was cooked to order temp (always a plus), had decent flavor, but is served on sourdough slices...the juice of the burger and heavy flavored mayo makes the bottom piece of bread saturated and messy (not good messy). The chicken on the gyro was way dried out and had weak lemon flavor. The tzatziki sauce was decent, but couldn't save the dish of dried chicken and dried out pita.

our total was something like $50....kinda steep for one beer and a less than stellar meal.

likely won't go back, not on my dime anyway, for eats. and def not the kind of place I'd go and drink.....lack appeal

best part about the meal was leaving and going to see The Boss.
