Good SF Brunch

Have some friends coming into town and looking for a spot to have brunch on Saturday. Looking for Potrero Hill, Noe, Bernal, Dogpatch, out to Hunters Point----something other than Sally's, Pizzanostre, Chloe's, Toast, Just for You, Chez Maman, Aperto...

A favorite of mine is Axis in Potrero. The food is fantastic, but the service is slow. If you go, be ready for a leisurely brunch.

I really like Fattoush for lunch and dinner, and I hear their brunch is quite good. The brunch menu is far less Lebanese / Middle Eastern than you might expect.

Another place that's been on my breakfast / brunck radar is Pastores. I hear lots of good reports. The only problem is they have pretty flaky hours and always seem to be closed when I want to go.

You could try Universal Cafe or Slow Club or for rustic hippie yacht club, there's the Ramp.

Serpentine is fantastic for brunch - their red fennel hash is a must order.

Not quite in the neighborhoods you mentioned but Foreign Cinema is my favorite brunch spot in the city - I actually brought four friends from out of town there last Saturday.
