No beer at Arbor Walk

Went to Home Depot today and thought that a beer would be might good. Went to Potbelly, no beer. I asked around, including Spec's and was told that it was unlikely that no place at the AW served beer on premises. WTH, this is Austin. Thank you favorite deities though that they put in a 4 way stop sign there in front of the HD. OTW,if you know of a beer place in AW please let me know. J.

I just saw that a few days ago. It is just blocks from my work and I will have to give it a try.

I ate there for the second time today at lunch, and both times it was very good. It is a really beautiful setting with a great patio overlooking the lake. I have only had the chicken enchiladas, but I love the fire roasted flavor and the crispy ends of the tortilla. My only complaint is that it is not as hot as it should be when served. It is always more than I can eat and I take the leftovers back to work; it reheats great.

Did you try Chucky Cheese? In all seriousness, the Chipotle beside Mighty Fine should have beer.

I don't think most small lunch-oriented chains serve beer (which is what AW is primarily composed of), but you'd probably have some luck at the Mimi's Cafe at the far South end.
