Koko's Pub on Harford Rd

I had dinner at Koko's Pub again last night. I'll go on record as saying their crab cake takes a back seat to no one. It is fantastic. But last night I got a BLT. Wow. Possibly the best BLT ever. Lightly toasted white bread (not completely crunchy, pliable enough to hold the contents of the sandwich), fresh tomatoes and LOTS of perfectly cooked bacon. I also got a well above average Greek salad with tons of nice feta.

This place rivals Duda's as the best bar food in the city, IMO. Anyone agree?

While it is very hard to go to Koco's and not order the crabcake, next time you are there try the fried shrimp. I'm not even sure why it's so good but it some of the best fried shrimp I've had around here. just simple breaded shrimp but so yummy. only thing wrong with this place is they don't serve dessert!

They still got the Crab Cake special on Thursdays right as of this year 2009?? for what was it like $19?? ..Good timing, since today is Thursday.

Drive 2 blocks down the street and hit Clementine for dessert... theirs are fabulous.

I've never been able to order anything other than the crabcake...but last time I was there I saw someone's burger and it looked really, really good. We got the steamed shrimp as an appetizer last time as well and they were great too.
