Dishes, located btw 5th and Madison, has gorgeous baked goods that are made in-house. I love the selection in the mornings.

There is a Crumbs on Madison in the mid 50's.

Cafe Zaiya is a Japanese bakery that is nearby. They have some Western goods in addition to the Japanese ones. There are also two Crumbs locations within a short walk.

If you go over to 6th Avenue/Rockefeller Center you can stop by the Magnolia Bakery there, as well as the Dean & Deluca.

What kind of baked goods are you looking for?
The only places that come to mind are Dishes (6 East 45th) which while not a "bakery" bakes alot of cookies, brownies and pastries, or the Zaro and Coronado options in Grand Central.
