Dinner for 16-19 on a Friday night
This is a rehersal dinner for a wedding that doesn't need a rehearsal. Son and DIL to be have suggested Vitello's Restaurant in Studio City -- I looked at menu (okay); was puzzled that prices for private rooms were at least twice that quoted on the a la carte menu. The prices were reasonable, just that there was such a discripancy. Do we need a private room? How to decide? Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I guess I'd like to be able to do it for $50pp, but that may not be reasonable. I do understand that it's LA, not smalltown Pennsylvania where I am. And the numbers look more like 30 than 20 now. We're talking July, if that's a help. Cuisine isn't really an issue, as far as I'm concerned (although the quality of the cuisine is). :-)
