I went last night for the first time courtesy of a restaurant.com gift certificate for $25 that cost me $2. At this point, I would say that the BHB is the best of all the selections on Restaurant.com (not saying much).
Even without the coupon, it was a thoroughly enjoyable meal with attentive and pleasant service. I intend to go back, coupon or not. The ambience and location are a plus.
The salads were incredibly fresh and well dressed. For an entree, I had a simple preparation of Roasted Chicken breast served on spaghetti squash. Delectable. The chicken was so tender and plump, it reminded of a poulet de Bresse. If only it had come with morels...
My SO had a spring lasagne which I did not sample. Not one of her favorites, but probably not what she should have ordered since she favors typical red sauce lasagne, and this was well-described on the menu with a fresh vegetable twist, and fresh sweet pea sauce.
The wines by the glass selection were varied and reasonable. Two great rose selections which lent themselves nicely to my entree, and of course this beautiful weather.
Every third Monday, the restaurant does a wine tasting with four courses and four wines for $55 dollars. It looked to be sold out, and is something I would like to do in the future.
Didn't try desert, but instead headed up to the Liberty Hotel, and another glass of wine at Scampo. Very enjoyable atmosphere.

I'm glad you enjoyed your meal so much. I also have a restaurant.com coupon I've been intending to use, so I'm thinking I'll have to go at some point this week.

I love their little bar, some of the best cocktails along Charles Street. An underrated place; I was glad to see Devra re-review it for The Globe recently.
