Does anyone know if the Chart House in Dobbs Ferry is still around?
I recall having several good meals there but havent been in a number of years. Wondering if it still exists?

This place seems to have fallen off the charts, no pun intended. May pick up with summer coming. Anyone been there lately?

We went a couple of weeks ago and had their "stimulus menu". It was for $14.95 for a trio of appetizers (mini apps), salad and entree...not as many choices as on the regular menu but more than enough food and choices for my DH and I. Quite good...not Harvest but still good especially for the price.

    2. It is now Harvest 2000 - has been for a little while

While owned by the same folks as Harvest, Chart House is indeed now called Half Moon.

Had dinner there tonight. Great view, but the food merely adequate.

Began with the clams. Too many crumbs for the clam. Poor. Salmon asked medium rare to medium way overcooked. On the second attempt, the chef overcautious undercooked it. Sent it back and it was perfect. My Veal Milanese was ordinary; the meat good, the coating soggy. Good accompanying greens, and a flavorful tomato. The cheesecake dessert was solid, and the highlight of the meal. Good wine list, well priced.

Previously, was hit and miss as well, but the view is so spectacular, it is tempting to overlook the food. But the view is not that good. Won't bother going back.
