MSP - need help finding cured meats

howdy - i'm looking to buy some bison, venison, or other game jerky. any suggestions on where to get some in the Twin Cities? during the week? (normally i'd go to the St. Paul farmer's market, but i need to score some before this weekend.) thanks.

thanks for the suggestions, everyone. i think i'm going to check out the Grass Roots Gourmet market at the midtown global market...i called them last night and it sounds like they have a lot of bison (and other) cured products.

The Wedge sells really nice beef jerky and has bison. I am not sure if they have bison jerky, but it might be worth a call.

I know Eichten's (bison jerky) was at the Minneapolis Farmer's Market last weekend. From the press on that market, it's open every day, from 6 am to 1 pm. Also, There's the Thursday market on Nicollet Mall. I don't know to what extent Eichten's participates.

Or, try calling Clancy's. I don't know if they do jerky.

dh got some good bison jerky stix at the small mississippi market on raymond. northstar bison jerky is the name on the package, he got the garlic flavor & says there was a cheddar flavor and another kind.
