Mother's Day Help

This may be a little last minute to get reservations anywhere, but I'm still going to give it try. Does anyone have any recommendations for Mother's Day dinner? I would prefer to stay in Maryland but I will venture into D.C. for the perfect place. I would prefer to keep the cost at about $50 a person though, so I don't know how much of a problem it will be. As far as cuisine, we are pretty open with the exception of seafood restaurants. My mom just isn't really into them. Thank you so much!!

We had Mother's Day at Bistro Bis a couple years ago and it was spectacular. All the Momma's were very happy. The food was as good as always. They had a three course menu, I believe it was the same price as their normal three course brunch menu.

Lia's in Friendship Heights/Chevy Chase would be very good for Mothers Day. The service and choice are very good there, and you can get out of there under $50 a pop easily.

I don't know much about Maryland restaurants but in DC there still seem to be reservations on Opentable at: Ardeo, Art and Soul, Bistro Bis, Cashion's Eat Place, and Poste. All of these would make for a nice Mother's Day dinner.

Just returned to Poste and had a moderately unpleasant dining experience. The service was poor, but mostly the food just didn't "wow." The menu is very inventive, but the dishes weren't as impressive as I expected from their descriptions. Also, in my opinion the menu is too heavy for the warm weather we're getting in DC these days!
