Vegas Mother's Day Brunch

goldstt Apr 26, 2009 05:20 AM

My wife and I are stealing away to Vegas...happens to be mother's day weekend.
Anybody have any ideas of great brunch places on the big day (Sunday the 10th for those of you who might have forgotten!)?
I'm not interested in a buffet (with lobster tails or without). Just good food and good atmosphere.

Are you going to have a car? Also, what is your budget?

No car...but would rent one for right opportunity...budget is ~$75/each.

Verandah at the Four Seasons....very nice atmosphere and terrific food (although there are buffet portions). Or Bouchon....not a traditional brunch but great food.

We're probably staying at the Four Seasons. Having no information to go on, I was worried Verandah would just be generic hotel dining...i guess not?

Verandah is a very pretty restaurant, with a large outdoor area near the pool. The food, especially for breakfast/brunch, is consistently very good, and (not surprising, it's a four seasons) the service is top notch. If you want to leave the premises, I do recommend Bouchon; we also just did brunch at Simon at the Palms, which was entertaining, but perhaps not what you are looking for; it's got a fairly large buffet element, and the servers/hostesses are all in pajamas....
