Where is Mr. Chestnut?
After the article about "Mr. Chestnut" and his van appeared in the Toronto Star, we went right down to the Beach on a Saturday to try a bag. They were wonderful. But since then we have been trying to find him without success. The Star article gave the following times and places:
"If you crave some, you're likely to find the Mr. Chestnut van in these locations:
Koreatown (Bloor St. W., east of Christie St.), Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 2 to 7:30 p.m., Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m.
Beach (Queen St. E. at Kew Gardens Park), Tuesday and Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
North York (Yonge St. at Spring Garden Ave.), Tuesday and Thursday from 5 to 7:30 p.m."
Has anyone seen him lately in the Beach or elsewhere? If so, where and when?

I'm here. I didn't go to the Beach lately. Also, I don't go out too much in the summer. Now, I only go Monday 6:00-8:00pm Bloor & Christy, Tuesday & Thursday Yonge & Spring Garden also 6:00-8:00pm. I'm still delivering to T&T.

It's me, a poor street vendor selling fresh roasted chestnuts in a van on the streets.

re: Mr. Chestnut
Awesome! Please do let post when you will be back in the Christie (or any downtownish) area. It's a bit of a trek, but closer than T&T for those living downtown.
I've been craving Chinese chestnuts ever since I had them in Beijing. I hope you've worked out something with the City of Toronto zoning, it's great seeing these chestnuts in Toronto.
