What do you think of Morton's Steakhouse
Is Morton's good/worth the price? In fact, what is the price of a meal there? I was thinking of maybe ordering the veal or lobster with oysters on the half shell to start. Anybody know the price for a meal like that? Any location in LA would be fine.

Morton's is better than Ruth's Chris in my opinion. Another chain steakhouse to consider the is The Palm.

I don't like Morton's. My first visit to Morton's (South Coast Plaza) will be my last. The spiel they do with presenting the ingredients is wholly unnecessary and stupid, especially when the waiter did it so half-heartedly. The steaks were horrid to me, and the prices was unreasonably steep (Turned out to be around 95 bucks for two people, with tip. Never again.

"horrid"? Wow. I knew Morton's had its detractors but I've never heard anybody refer to their steaks as horrid.
Steaks are pricey, as they run between $30-$35, but you're paying for USDA Prime meat which doesn't come cheap no matter where you dine. Do I think it's worth the money? Probably not, considering I prefer my own home cooked steaks at 1/4 the price. But if you have the cash, have a craving for steak and want to eat out, there are few better places to go imo.
Their Godiva chocolate cake is a delicious way to end a meal. -

I've been to both the OC and the BH locations.
I also feel the OC location is really a bad experience. The chefs and waiters at the BH location cater to a vastly different crowd so they have to be up to snuff or off they go...I've had some of my more memorable dinner experiences at the BH Morton's...(both the Arnie Morton's and Morton's Steakhouse I might add) -
