Really family-friendly spots in Forest Hill or midtown

I live right between the Nordheimer and Cedervale ravines. We do nature walks through both. We need to find a couple of small-child friendly spots on both ends of each. There is only so long the little guy can last without a (ahem, bathroom) break. The southward hike isn`t such a huge problem, but some ideas for the north end would be great.

i have always found the Terroni at Balmoral to be great for families!

The Balmoral Terroni is amazing for families - but I'm not sure it synchs up with the ravines. Definitely not with Cedervale anyway - where is Nordheimer? Mashu Mashu was the first place I thought of - I picked up some lunch there last week and it was great.

If I'm not mistaken, the north end of the Cedarvale ravine surfaces at the park around Ava Rd. and Strathearn. There's the whole strip of restaurants on Eglinton between Bathurst and Allen Rd., most of which are family-friendly.

Forest Hill Village...Mashu Mashu is open for lunch as well as Hope St Cafe...both very kid friendly...Miranda

Not sure what kind of place you are looking for -- dinner or lunch. Forest Hill Village has a few options and I think there's a ravine entrance nearby -- Mashu Mashu is excellent but I am not sure it's open for lunch. What a Bagel is good for a quick bite.
