We're staying at the Doubletree on Concord Pike the first weekend in May for a family event. I always try to reserve time and meals to explore. I'm looking for interesting breakfast options and love diners. We don't eat red meat of poultry but like many Asian cuisines. And being "East Coast" will appreciate Pizza recs. Thanks

Please do a search of this board for "Wilmington" and "Delaware." You will find many existing threads on the topic.

Well, we are short on Chinese food but do have a couple of good Sushi places, Mikimoto's downtown Wilmington is the best and you should be able to find a lot of non beef items there. You might also want to try Harry's Seafood at the waterfront, good raw bar options. Let us know what you try.

You could get a good pizza at Gallucio's in Wilmington. The Gallucio son has a restaurant here in Lewes where I live and his pizzas are good. Wilmington has its own Little Italy so keep that in mind too.

Lucky's for good dinerish breakfast, Bon Appetit for French bistro/deli/dessert fare, Brewhaha for coffee all on Concord Pike near hotel. Pizza by Elizabeths not far in Greenville.

Thanks, had a good, quality breakfast at Lucky's and very much enjoyed Pizza by Elizabeths. Didn't have enough time but was intrigued with Total Wine.
