  1. A little farther west (10th Avenue) is Red Cat. I have never, EVER been disappointed by the food, they are BYOB friendly (though there is a corkage fee) ... I guess I would say the one thing that DID bother me was the consistently inconsistent service. If you go early enough in the evening (8:00 instead of 9:30, say) you'll likely avoid such problems.

We are repeat fans of Red Cat. It's still on our list for our third trip to NYC in the Fall.
We always stay in Clesea so it's a nice, safe walk to and from TRC.

    2. Grand Sichuan, 24th and 9th.

      1. I find it hard to believe there is no info on this subject and that it hasn't been answered very often.
Tia Pol is where I would go in that immediate vicinity. If you are uptight, maybe not for you, that is my warning.

It has been asked and answered a few times, recently.

Maybe I do not have my search skills up to snuff. I tried searching Chelsea and did not find a good thread. Pan. If you know a good recent thread please link to it for me.

Based on searching "Chelsea" on this board:

              "Chinese in Chelsea"

              "Fave places in Chelsea/K Town"

              "Chelsea bar/restaurant rec needed"

And lots of other threads that don't have "Chelsea" in the title but do cover some places in Chelsea.

              How did you search?
