Solaia or Barcelona in Greenwich?

I'm looking for a nice restaurant to take my brother to for his graduation dinner. I've heard mixed reviews about Solaia and have been to the Barcelona location in Norwalk. Still, I'd love to know your thoughts about Solaia & Barcelona in Greenwich.

Anyone been to either recently?

Also, if there are other Stamford/Greenwich area restaurants that you'd recommend above these please do share!

I, too, did not like Barcelona in Greenwich. The food was ok, nothing special. We enjoy EOS in Stamford. The food is delicious and the service is always nice.

Yup, Barcelona in Norwalk 10x better than the one in Greenwich.

Try tentwenty post in darien 2 exits/5 mins north of stamford. Or l'escale in the delamar hotel in greenwich.

I'd definitely skip Barcelona in Greenwich. The last time we were there a few months ago, the food was fair at best, the scene was sort of cheesy and then there was table clearing bar brawl over a girl that sent our ( and many others) dinners flying.
