So, in the last 3 months I've driven by a pink food stand on Shilshole, basically across from Ray's/Shilshole Beach Club. Has anyone been there? What do they have? It appears to be popular, but the only 2 times I've driven by (not on my regular route) I've not been able to stop and check it out. thanks for any info!

  1. Paseo!!!! Go there...Better yet, run as fast as you can and enjoy!!!

    1. A bit more info... Paseo is a Cuban sandwich joint that is very popular. Their sandwiches can't be beat and their meal combos are great too. Try the garlic bread.

      But definitely... go there.

      1. The roast cuban pork sandwich is awesome, but my favorite is the chicken thighs dinner (get a couple extra chicken thighs!). YUMMMMM

This is Paseo's second location. The first one is on Fremont Ave, but they seem to run out of food and bread way more often than the Shilshole location.

        1. If you go, I'd recommend the #2 cuban pork sandwich as opposed to their most popular, the #1 cuban pork. Difference is, #2 is a couple of slabs of pork tenderloin, as opposed to shredded, and has slightly more tangy mayo sauce than the #1. The sauce is to die for, with cilantro, jalapenos, and caribbean spices. And the baguettes are toasted perfectly, along with those thick sliced caramelized onions... the whole thing is a big but happy mess. Chew carefully because I always have a stomach ache from eating these too fast before they fall apart.
