Tips for Dining, Eating, and Food Shopping in Manhattan

Primehouse on park ave: any good?

I know its a BR Guest restaurant but walk by all the time and wondered if it was worth trying compared to some of my favs (strip house, keens, etc)

    1. Never been to Strip House or Keens, but I think Primehouse is pretty good. Along the lines of STK, but less of a scene and with better food.

        1. I have been to Primehouse twice and had a good meal both times. It is worth you giving it a shot.

            1. My favorite is Keens and I did not enjoy Primehouse. It wasn't particularly bad, but I would never choose it over Keens for a steak.

              Also, the very modern black and white decor was distracting and not my style when it comes to a steakhouse. The room was really loud (club-like) and our waitress was terrible. It took her so long just to come over and bring us tap water we actually had to get up and remind the hostess that we sat down (it was 30 minutes).
