Suggestions for a Portuguese Restaurant

Looking for ideas of where to go in the city of Toronto for a home style Portuguese meal.
ie. traditional fares or even some bbq sardines would be great.

If you are going to have just ONE Portuguese meal, I would head out to Chiado, period!

Chiado is far, far from homestyle Portuguese food.

I would add that Churrasqueria has a fantastic back patio, perfect for the upcoming spring weather.

I think you'll find the restaurant at 1000 College is called Bairrada.

If the weather is nice, it's such a great patio. The food is really homey, although the chicken can be a bit dry. The sardines are excellent, though.

You could try random churrasqueria, as there are many in the GTA, some of which serve more than just chicken. Might want to do a search on the board for which ones are best nearby.

Otherwise, and if cost doesn't matter, head to Chiado.
