Bethesda Happy Hour

Looking for a good place to meet someone for drinks in Bethesda. Not too loud or crowded, but not deserted either. On the classier side than the dive-ish side. Suggestions?

Cafe Deluxe, Black's, Houston's (or what it is now called), Jaleo, Redwood, all come to mind.

Seconding Jaleo, that place is great.

Daily Grill has happy hour food and good wine & beer selections. When the weather is nice, they have a large outdoor patio section. Not crowded at all.

Tako Grill on Wisconsin in Bethesda has a happy hour- I noticed a sign on the bar tonight as I picked up my sushi takeout. There were things like pork potstickers, mozzerella sticks, etc on the happy hour menu. By the way, the sushi was very good- my first time-but I will be back-especially as it is walking distance from my apartment.

I like Tako Grill a lot, but be careful for the happy hour as the menu specials are only good if you are actually sitting at the bar (not even at the tables in the bar area). Also I think the serving size for, say, edamame, may be smaller.
