Does anyone know if personal wines are allowed and what the corkage fee is at Stella?

I'm not sure...but most nice restaurants will allow it if you're bringing something that they don't offer. For a restaurant of that level I would say probably a $25 corkage fee.

http://www.opentable.com/rest_profile... On open table it says that they are:
Offers: Fireplace, Full Bar, Non-Smoking Restaurant, Patio/Outdoor Dining, Personal wines welcome (corkage fee applies), Wheelchair Access, Wine

There's a distinct difference between being BYOB and allowing personal wines with a corkage fee. I would recommend calling them. I'm sure they'd be happy to let you know, and you'd avoid the speculation.

There is a $25 corkage fee. I assume that it is an unusual wine perhaps with particular sentimental value. Call ahead and ask for the sommelier to be sure that the wine is not on their list (very much a faux pas) and be sure to let the sommelier taste the wine. We brought a boutique Napa cab there last year and had no problem at all.
