Haven't been there in awhile, so don't know if things have improved. Locals tend to love the place and I live in Annapolis too but have not been back. They have these "signature" dishes that they tout over and over again, and frankly how creative is the chef if you don't produce new dishes and techniques? I was underwhelmed, but again this place gets some rave reviews. If it is a special occasion, maybe go elsewhere. Osteria 177 is excellent, and was there just a month ago.

Had the worst experience there. Mainly with the service. The waitress actually lied to us about what came with the meal. When I realized it - after the fact, I called the owner and his comment was "Well, I will take her off dinners and put her back on the lunch shift." He didn't care about the customer. I won't frequent or recommend a restaurant that does something like this. I also remembet someone else saying that their service was horrible.
