Any recommendations at to where I could get some excellent sweets in Brooklyn Heights? I'd prefer cupcakes, but am open to suggestion. The closer to Borough Hall the better.

Tazza on Henry St. by Atlantic is good for a place to sit and eat and has good cupcakes and other sweets from Baked. Lassen and Hennigs on Montague St. also has a lot of desserts for takeout.

LASSEN & HENNIG on Montague Street always has a nice selection oif cupcakes in various sizes. TAZZA on Clark Street has some as well, but they aren't always fresh.
As for Sweets or Desserts in general, the best to be found, and among the best in the city, are the Desserts at ALMONDINE in DUMBO.
