Morels in CNJ?

where can I find them? Anyone been to whole foods in Princeton lately? they usually have a good selection of mushrooms, curious if they are carrying Morels.

If not, any other place close? Middlesex cnty? Thanks.

Sorry I didn't see this post earlier--I could have told you that Wegmans in Princeton had them--I think still do.

This older chow post says they found Morels late in the season at Delicious Orchards COlts Neck NJ.

Sure a seasoned chowhound can help you more specifically.
I love to learn new things. Hope this helps you some.

Oh, and maybe the Exotic Mushroom Man at the Rutgers Farm Market East Brunswick NJ can help you.

I was at DO last thursday or friday and I did not see fresh morels - fantastic shiatakes though! I'd call first if I were you.

Found the last handful at Whole Foods in Princeton. 39.99/lb 5bucks worth was MORE than enough for a cup/4 servings of risotto. ;)
