Maine Diner - meh

The last time I made the trip up to Wells for a lobster roll at the Maine diner, it was great. Yesterday, not so great.
I ordered a hot lobster roll...it was barely warmed when it arrived and the butter on the plate was not melted but congealed. And the lobster, rather than being succulent was dried out as if it had been sitting for a long time.
My sister had a cold lobster roll...she said it was good but found several pieces of cartilidge in her lobster.
The seafood chowder we ordered was delicious and the best part of the meal. Great flavor, not too thick and full of shrimp, scallops, etc.
To finish off the meal we ordered a piece of bluberry pie. Crust was not good and pie was very unremarkable...a bit too much thickener in the filling and didn't taste fresh.
I know there are a zillion other places to go in Maine for a good lobster roll...but since I had a good one here before I thought I'd have another...I was wrong. Oh well.

    Yeah, I agree.

They used to be a constant advertiser on Phantom Gourmet and that to me is a big red flag.
