Ahh springtime; honeybees, apple blossums, and local strawberries
Ok, I am spoiled...
I flatly refuse to buy woody, tasteless out of season strawberries. I get about 75% of my berries from a little stand stand on North Kelly road (those familiar to Napa might know the place).
Well the sunshine and warmth had me hopeful, so after work I went by the field. As luck would have it they were open. My definition of springtime has been realized.

Thanks for reporting the Napa strawberry stands are open.
In Berkeley I got some tasty strawberries from the little stand next to Indus Village. I can't guarantee they are consistantly great since the produce comes from a number of local farms, so different places might have different strawberries. $2 a basket.
