Now that I live out of the city, my local farmers' market doesn't open until the end of May. I was thinking of coming in on Saturday morning to shop at Union Square. Has anyone been and is any spring produce coming in yet?

This is a great link. Do you know of a similar link that provides updates on the Grand Army Plaza Greenmarket?

I haven't been to the market in a while, but I know the website lists what's in season and what months certain items are offered. It also mentions if the items are from storage- that way you'll know to ask if thing like apples are a new crop or from last season.
