Trattoria Corso - dinner report

d

We ate at Trattoria Corso yesterday. Overall OK, but just that.

Appetizers:
Sweetbreads meatballs: perfectly adequate.
Sardines: nice

Mains:
Octopus pizza: rather dissapointing (disappointing crust, sauce, cheese, and filling... rather embarrassing)
Pork chop: the one excellent dish in the evening

Wish I had better news to report (the place is a 2 min walk from home!)

orry about your disappointing experience, but I'd suggest you give the place another chance...we've eaten there about three times now, and every one has been terrific--the last being the best of the lot...

      What do you reccommend?

Octopus pizza? You are braver than I am. I doen't even like the thought of a squid pizza if there is such a thing ... and I like calamari

Dhound, I'd like to hear what you found so good about the Pork Chop (well seasoned, moist, ...) and why the pizza was so poor (why was the crust disappointing, undercooked, ...)

My wife has been a few times and has loved the place. I went with her once and it was pretty good from what I remember. I don't remember anything which wasn't pretty tasty.
