Thai iced tea.

I need some place to buy this so I can make it at home. Is it even possible? Any powders or mixes or recipes or anything? I always have to go to a doughnut shop to get it.

This is where I get mine - huge bags last awhile! don't forget to get half n half or whole milk if you like it 'creamy'. Great in the summer, eh?

Any of the Thai markets sell bags of the tea and the cloth strainer. I prefer the tea mix with a mostly yellow lanle and some blue with a pink tea cup. Just says "thai tea mix' in 4 languages. If you need specifics on locations or how to brew, let me know.

Places like 99 Ranch usually carry the powders. I'm sure Thai markets in Thai Town do as well. I believe I've also seen it at Simpang Asia, an Indonesian minimart of sorts, that has a connecting cafe that outdoes itself.

I *think* I might've seen a mix at Simpang Asia market on the Westside - it and other markets are described here:

Wikipedia has an entry with recipes:

And you can also order it online from sites like this (they may have other kits too):
