Mache (Lettuce) in Calgary

Jetgirly Apr 17, 2009 08:56 PM

Do you know of anywhere I could buy lamb's lettuce / mache / songino (as I first learned to call it) in Calgary? I read another thread that said Earthbound Farms actually sells it packaged, but I've never seen it here or back in BC.

    Co-op (Crowfoot) sometimes has it.

You probably found it by now, but I buy it all the time from Sobey's. From a California company called EPIC ROOTS

I saw the Earthbound Farms mache once in Wal-Mart's grocery. So there's a chance you might be able to find it at one of their locations.

I've seen it sometimes at Sunterra (Westhills location)

I know I saw Earthbound Farms Mache recently...can't remember if it was Costco, Planet Organic or Community though. When I see it again I'll post.

I've seen it regularly at Mercato - but otherwise not often. I like it as well.
